The Association of Paediatric Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland is 40 years old this year.
In recognition of this milestone the afternoon prior to the 2013 Annual Scientific Meeting in Cambridge was given over to a celebration of our history. This comprised a programme of invited speakers and a small exhibition of paediatric anaesthesia artefacts, kindly donated by the Heritage Department of the AAGBI for the day.
