The role of the trainee representative is:
- Representing anaesthetic trainees at on the APA Council, Education and Training and the Professional Standards Committees.

- Collating a database of paediatric anaesthesia fellowships
- Developing educational resources for trainees
- Increasing the trainee specific content of the Annual Scientific Meeting
