SPANZA/APAGBI Conference 2019

Invitation to attend

We would like to invite you to Brisbane for the 2019 SPANZA Annual Scientific Meeting.  This meeting will be co-hosted by the Association of Paediatric Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland (APAGBI) so it’s sure to be thought provoking conference with a broad range of international and local experts.

The theme of our meeting is “Changing Tides” which represents both the Brisbane River, which is the centrepiece of our beautiful host city, and the changes in ideas and practice that will challenge us over the course of the meeting.

The conference will be held at a brand new facility right on the Brisbane River in close proximity the city, the famous South Bank precinct as well as a world class simulation centre at the Queensland Children's Hospital.

Our speakers from Australasia, Europe and North America will inform, educate, challenge and inspire. The meeting is perfect for those working in tertiary paediatric centres as well as the occasional paediatric anaesthetist. The workshop program is designed to hone your skills in a broad range of disciplines including ultrasound, perioperative anxiety and crisis management and is an excellent way of satisfying CPD requirements.
