#APAGBI2023 Abstracts

The best #APAGBI2023 abstracts are published in Pediatric Anaesthesia

In May 2023 the Association of Paediatric Anaesthetists (APAGBI) held its Annual Scientific Meeting in London.

The best six oral abstracts were presented orally, and these abstracts are reproduced in the Pediatric Anesthesia Journal Article

Congratulations to award winners, who were :

  • The Pediatric Anesthesia journal prize for the best overall abstract was awarded to Dr T. J. W. Dawes for the paper “Pre-Operative Echocardiography For Risk Stratification Of Children With Idiopathic Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension Undergoing General Anaesthesia For Cardiac Catheterization.”
  • Additional prizes were awarded
  • Best education project to Dr S. M. Chan for “Training Review In Paediatric Anaesthesia(Trip): An Exposure & Workload Distribution Survey”
  • Best quality improvement project to Dr M. Jepson for the paper “Super Sedation! Using Sedation Delivered by Mucosal Atomization Device (M.A.D) Reduces The Need For General Anaesthetic In Children Aged 1–8 Years For Audiology Testing.”
